Tom Sawyer 's parents died when he was young. His aunt Polly used to take care of him. Tom had a cousin , Mary, and half brother Sid. Sid always loved to see Tom in trouble. One day, aunt Polly learned from Sid that Tom had skipped school and was going for swimming. On top of that, he had a fight with a boy and came home covered in dust. Aunt Polly was very angry with Tom. As a punishment, she told Tom to paint the fence. While he was painting ,one of his friends, Ben Rogers came there. He was eating an apple. Tom was very clever, he told Ben that painting fence is all fun. Ben told Tom that if he let him paint the fence, he would give his apple to him. Tom agreed to his condition. While Ben was painting the fence, Tom was sitting and eating the apple. Thus begins his adventures and some misadventure.

Tom Sawyer: He is an adventurous boy. He always love to do adventure.
Huckleberry Finn: He is an orphan boy. He is Tom's best friend.
Aunt Polly: She is caretaker of Tom. She loves Tom more than anyone.
